How It Works
4 Steps to Starting a Company in Singapore as a Foreigner
We simplify the registration process by providing you with an easy-to-use online platform that allows you to upload your documents, collaborate with us, and track the progress.
- Get ACRA’s approval for your company name
Send us your company name, we check its availability, and then we submit it to ACRA to have it registered.
- Upload your registration documents
You can upload all the required documents to the Biz Atom platform. These include your Company Constitution, Director & Shareholder’s particulars, Company Secretary’s details, Registered Address, Copy of Passport, and Proof of Residential Address.
- Let us verify all the documents.
We will check if all the documents are already complete. In compliance with the international AML regulations, we are required by ACRA to conduct a Know Your Customer (KYC) due-diligence.
- Get your company incorporated
Once all the required documents are ready, we submit them to ACRA to proceed with the registration process. It normally takes less than an hour, but if your company has to be referred to another government agency for further vetting, it can take a few weeks.

How does the process work?
First, we check if your desired company name is available. Then, we require you to send us your IC or passport copy, details on directors and shareholders, etc. Next, we help you get all the necessary documents prepared and ask for your electronic signature. Once they’re all signed off, we submit them to ACRA. After a UEN has been issued, your company is ready to operate!
How long does it take to incorporate a company?
It usually takes 1 - 3 hours to incorporate a company. It mostly depends on how quickly all the details can be ready to be submitted and the number of stakeholders in the company. If the company registration has to be referred to another government agency for further checking, the process can take weeks
How will I know if my company has been incorporated?
When your Singapore company has been incorporated, we will send an official email with your company profile and certificate of incorporation attached for free.
Should you want to retrieve the certificate of incorporation by yourself, you will also be able to obtain a PDF version of your company business profile by making a request online and paying a nominal application fee.
Can I move to Singapore after the company incorporation?
Sure, you can. You can either use an EntrePass or an Employment Pass to relocate and bring your family members to Singapore. The Singapore Entrepreneur Pass, (EntrePass), is suitable for foreign entrepreneurs seeking to set up a business in Singapore. Meanwhile, professionals, managerial personnel (managing directors or CEOs), executives or specialists who wish to work in Singapore can apply for an Employment Pass.
What’s the difference between a Singapore EntrePass and Employement Pass?
An EntrePass is suitable for foreign entrepreneurs seeking to set up a business in Singapore, while an Employment Pass is aimed at professionals, managerial personnel, executives, or specialists who wish to work in Singapore.
If you want to apply for a work pass before registering your company, you'll only be able to do so through EntrePass (because an Employment Pass can only be applied after the company is set up). If your EntrePass application is granted, you will have 30 days to incorporate your business.
To be considered for an Employment Pass, a foreigner must have a fixed monthly salary of at least $5,000, or $5,500 in the financial sector. Meanwhile, there is no stipulated minimum salary for an EntrePass.
